Cavalier King Charles Spaniels

About Honeybet Cavaliers

We have owned Cavalier King Charles Spaniels since 1975 but only started showing in 1990 so we are relatively newcomers to the show scene.

Our first Cavalier was a Ruby bitch called Penny who lived to be 14 years old and went back on Kormar lines.

Our first foundation bitches were Honey (Hazelbury Dollybird) and Betsy (Millhill La Cassis) and it was the joining of their names that gave us our Kennel Club Affix of Honeybet.

We enjoy showing as a relaxing hobby and compete at Open Shows in East Anglia plus Championship Shows all over the UK.

Our best result then was gaining the Dog CC at the City of Birmingham Championship Show 1996 when the judge David Stroud Snr awarded the ticket to our Honeybet Headliner a blenheim from a mating of Ch Millhill Le Monde to our tri bitch Millhill Fait Bien at Honeybet.

The best part of the day was that Marian's parents were visiting their first ever Dog Show and were able to see her "15 minutes of fame ".

In 2011 Honeybet Magic Touch went one better with the Dog CC and BOB at South Wales Championship Show although on this occassion we were in Sweden and didn't see it happen !

From time to time we have litters to introduce new youngsters to our Team and we hope to keep you posted with their Show progress under our Latest News heading.
