George was Marian's favourite, a son from Betsy's first litter born in 1993. He was placed at his first show in Minor Puppy and was 1st in Puppy at the Colchester Canine Society Open show in early 1994. Best of Breed from Junior by the end of the year as well as being placed 8 times in Championship Shows.

But his star performance that year was 3rd in Limit at Border Union, where with Steve handling he gained his Stud Book number. Marian had to remain at home as a litter was due.

Entered at Crufts in 1997 he was placed Reserve in his class, and in 1998 when we did mainly Open Shows George gained 3 more 1st in class places.
